Tamera K. Meyer, M.D.
Dr. Meyer is a general psychiatrist with subspeciality training in addictionology and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. She is originally from Alabama and graduated from medical school at the University of South Alabama in 1999. She completed a residency in psychiatry at the University of Kentucky and a fellowship in Addiction Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. She has also completed psychoanalytic psychotherapy training at the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute. Dr. Meyer participates as adjunct clinical faculty with the University of Kentucky NKY campus and is the site director for the Behavioral Basis of Medicine Course. Professional interests include medication management, medical education, and psychotherapy.
