Alexandra Talks, M.S.W.

Alex Talks earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and completed postgraduate training in advanced psychotherapy at the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute. She specializes in psychodynamic psychotherapy with adults, older adolescents, and couples, treating clients with problems related to depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship conflict. In treatment, Alex’s goal is to help each client better understand their problems, the dynamics of their relationships, and how their history impacts their present in a safe, nonjudgmental, and caring environment. She is sensitive to and interested in the role of culture and socioeconomics, and has had the privilege of treating clients with many different ethnicities, religions, and gender identities.
